Life was the same, day in, day out, the kind that Lilliandil was used to, even if she may sometimes wonder what goes on beyond her father's island.
[break][break]
"Papa, who were those people?"
[break][break]
The three sleeping, bearded men had remained there for as long as she could remember, since she was a little girl, yet this was the first time the blonde headed female could bring herself to ask. Her eyes were bright, sparkling an deep, dark blue that seemed almost black. Her hair was an ice blonde, a shade Ramandu had always said was the only part of her that took after him, for she was the spitting image of her mother. Yet even so, they both knew it was a color that came from the effervescent heritage she got from being the daughter of a resting Star, for even under the glow of being half a Star, she had the amber brown locks of her mother.
[break][break]
"Lords, my daughter. They touched the forbidden Knife, the one I have warned you never to play around with. See the consequence?"
[break][break]
"But Papa, I am your daughter! Am I still vulnerable to enchantments as so?"
[break][break]
"As such, young one. And yes, you are. You are not invulnerable to anything simply because you're my daughter, child."
[break][break]
"But Pa-"
[break][break]
"Hush now, child. I have to descend to the skies. I shall see you when the sun rises."
[break][break]
The young child looked as her father's glow faded the higher he got, a sight she saw everyday for the past twelve short years of her life. But today, she had too much curiosity on her mind to just simply sit around. When Ramandu returned, he would be both horrified and trying to hold back his laughter at the sight of his golden headed girl seated on the lap of a sleeping Lord Argoz, the lords themselves with braided hair and sparkling tunics dusted with stardust, the kind the mildly vain Lilliandil used every day to make her hair 'sparkle like Papa's'.
[break][break]
[break][break]
"Should I go to meet them, Papa?"
[break][break]
"Not yet, child. Let us see what they intend. I have not seen the face of the one Aslan told us to watch for, and I will not risk our island or identity for mere wayward travellers."
[break][break]
As a child, Lilliandil had been headstrong, but years of grooming had trained her in to an elegant, charming character with grace, but enough personality to be of rememberance. The only thing she lacks is experience, for being trapped on an island with only her father and three forever sleeping lord as her company, Liliandil is wont to believe anything you tell her.
[break][break]
So they watched, until the sun began to caress the horizons with its warm fingers, and only with a nod from Ramandu, did the graceful female step from the doorway, and approached the table they all surrounded. "You must all be famished, why have you not eaten?" her curious question came, yet even as she tried to assess these people, the only ones other then her father, and the three lords, she's ever seen, Lilliandil could not help but notice the pair of eyes that zeroed in on her, the eyes that belonged to the most stately one in the area, that almost immediately captured her attention.
[break][break]
"My father will explain the enchantment." her voice murmured, at the end of the dark-haired captain's explanation, watching as he let his gaze linger on hers before he focused on Ramandu making himself known to the rest of them. For a daughter of a Star, she was easily enraptured by the Star progress of anyone else... and by far, he was as attention-grabbing as they got.
